Great Lakes Hospice Foundation

Extraordinary Support for Extraordinary Needs

The Great Lakes Hospice Foundation is a separate entity that is not affiliated with Great Lakes Home Health and Hospice. It is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit charitable organization with all of the Foundation assets going to support the special needs of Great Lakes Hospice patients and their families.

A Board of Directors, comprised of prominent, independent representatives from the mid-Michigan community, manages all of the Foundation’s donations, contributions and assets. They assure that any charitable contributions will not be used to pay the operating expenses of Great Lakes Hospice like rent or payroll, but instead are used to compliment the normal hospice care provided with extraordinary services or equipment not typically covered by the traditional hospice insurance benefit.
